Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is famous for his roles performed in "Law and Order Special Victims Unit". Since his college days Meloni had a keen interest in acting. Then he studied at his home institution, the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies and in television shows, it is the characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. He played the part of a serial killer on his first television series project and then went on to play the role as an NYPD detective.
